"For Leslie"
This is the first piece in a series of works I’ve decided to start to exercise my creative brain a little more. (Rather than spending all of my free time playing videogames or spending all of my school time on coding.) It will be a series with self portraits inspired by the style and  aesthetics of other great artists I admire. This one in particular is dedicated to Leslie Anne O’Dell, whose works are always beautiful, haunting, and feminine at the same time. This piece was much more experimental than I’d like, since the photo was taken with my cell phone and was therefore HORRENDOUS quality.

This is just a work in progress of my new business cards. Totally excited for this one. :)

Ahhh, logo spam! This time, it’s really honestly for me. Say hello to my official new logo. (Yes, that poor sad other cupcake will be discarded in the heap of thrown out artwork.) I was going for something a little more minimalist and a little more fun on what it means to be a “micro” cake.

I went through about 3-4 different rounds of logos before I was really really happy with this one. This also means I need to design/order new business cards, so I don’t know if I should be thrilled or crying with my empty wallet.

This was an experimental logo I made. It’s not necessarily a rebranding, but I think it’ll be handy to use in the future when I venture more into programming projects. It’s also my first major venture into gradient meshes. (The first official being the egg for Gumdrop and Snelly)

I did one of those random album cover challenges where you choose a random photo from Flickr, a random wiki article, and a random quote and make it into an album cover. It was surprisingly fun, but maybe I put more effort into it than I needed to. :)
